This is an adaptation of a classic from the Women’s Weekly Cakes & Slices recipe book. Tastes like the 90s, in a good way. The apple adds natural sweetness and moisture – you don’t really know it’s there but the texture is superior. You can ice it with our No Fuss Glossy Chocolate Icing or it’s also delicious plain, with sifted icing sugar or with whipped cream.
This glossy delicious icing needs no melting and no hand mixer required!! If you need some cake to go with the icing – use our YOMO Choc Muffin mix to make cupcakes or Apple Chocolate cake.
Use this delicious sauce for ice-cream, brownie sundaes, iced chocolate or hot chocolate. Use your preferred syrup from the list below - you can't go wrong!
