Hot Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Use this delicious sauce for ice-cream, brownie sundaes, iced chocolate or hot chocolate. Use your preferred syrup from the list below - you can't go wrong!

Ingredients

25g butter or dairy free spread

4 good squeezes of syrup - coconut syrup, golden syrup, date syrup or maple syrup

3 tbsp water

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp tapioca or corn starch mixed with 1 tsp water

Pinch of salt
Directions
Mix butter, cocoa water and syrup in a pan over medium heat, stirring continuously.
Once well combined and simmering turn the heat down a bit and stir in the tapioca/water mixture.
Heat it up a bit more and allow the sauce to thicken.
